Yes, it's time once again to set off on a new musical journey, a quest into the unknown world of "where in the hell do I take my music now?"
I am never satisfied with merely writing new songs in a tried-and-true similar style. That's just too easy. I have to force myself to create a new musical genre. Now whether I've ever achieved this is for you to decide, but I believe that I have done this at least a few times successfully.
At first with my 1997 demo recordings of DESALIN (black space-metal, with dark ambient interludes),

| then SPECTRAL AEONS (bizarre experimental dark ambient on now-defunct LSD Organization late-90's all-cassette label!!!). Spectral Aeons recently celebrated it's TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY! Spectral Aeons was conjured and recorded entirely without use of computers. Pagan Flames Productions recently released a remastered version at Bandcamp.com. | ||||||||||

Around this late-90's era I also completed a Fantasy-Folk album by the name of SARDONYX "Beyond the Golden Veil" with an original fantasy backstory. A completely remastered version of this album is now on Bandcamp.
Next came the notorious SATAN'S ALMIGHTY PENIS (1999's Torn by the Shaft of Satan, 2004's "Into The Cunt of Chaos" was far ahead of it's time with it's quirky and weird production, sonic and emotional intensity and strange song arrangements), Then S.A.P.'s crazy 2nd full-length "Pulsing Feral Spire" .
This was all followed by some very experimental early recordings with WHEN BITTER SPRING SLEEPS in a nature preserve, and some black metal minus percussion entirely (recently re-released digitally under the title of "She will not Mourn your Passing") and the split CD with the incredible PANOPTICON. Followed up with two full-length albums (Coven of the Wolves and Spirit In Flames using all clean vocals with black metal music.
In the background, I like to have a truly experimental project just to satisfy my lust for the weird underground. And this started with DESALIN, evolved into DESTROY HUMANITY NOW, and in it's present incarnation COCKROACH DOMINION.
All of these recordings were made entirely at home while working a full-time job, because quite-frankly , I'm not very popular or very talented and it has always been very difficult to make any cash from music.
After all that hyper-melodiousness of WHEN BITTER SPRING SLEEPS - STAR-THROWN (which I consider the pinnacle of my writing skills, even with it's experimental vocals), I crave the filth of the underground sound once again.
Anyway, so get ready for a world populated entirely by sentient, telepathic cockroaches.
